Question

Children are still young, and there are no obvious symptoms to remind them before each seizure. I want to know what kinds of signs there might be?

Answer

Many epilepsy patients experience a prodromal period before seizures, with symptoms including dizziness and stomach discomfort. During severe seizures, patients may suddenly lose consciousness, stop breathing, twitch limbs, clench their fists, roll their eyes upwards or have the black part of the eye deviate to one side, turn blue in the face, and vomit white foam. This is often accompanied by tongue bites and incontinence. Patients should not worry as epilepsy can be improved through treatment. They should face the disease with a positive attitude.
