Sometimes, laughter may be emitted, and the eyes may roll up and blink. Attacks can occur while lying down, sitting, or standing, mostly before sleeping or after waking up. Sometimes, attacks can occur while sleeping and wake up. Upon waking, there is a lot of excitement, and one cannot sleep for several hours. The duration of the attacks has been for over half a year, starting with one attack per month and now occurring every day. Tegretol has been taken but with no effect. Is this condition epilepsy?
