Question

Are children particularly prone to developing rhinitis these days? I don’t understand how such young children can get rhinitis, it’s truly concerning.

Answer

Children who are in a state of malnutrition or imbalanced diet, such as long-term deficiencies of vitamin C or vitamin A, may experience dilation of the nasal mucosal blood vessels. Additionally, long-term constipation or endocrine disorders may also cause dilation of the nasal mucosal blood vessels, leading to inflammation.
