Question
My daughter just turned 4 months old and is now at the stage of introducing complementary foods. I have already purchased Heinz baby rice, and I would like to inquire about how many times a day she should be fed, what the portion size should be, and how to mix it properly? Thank you very much.
Answer
Here is a good approach:
- 6-7 AM: Breast milk
- 9 AM: Fruit puree (options include apple, banana, pear, orange)
- Vitamin D supplement 1 capsule
- 11-12 PM: 1 tablespoon of rice porridge (add 1/4-1/2 egg yolk), paired with breast milk
- 2-3 PM: Half a packet of “Gai Wu Shuang” diluted with water, as calcium water
- 4 PM: Vegetable puree (options include carrot, spinach, potato, green leafy vegetables), paired with breast milk
- 6-7 PM: Milk 60ml (can add egg yolk), paired with calcium water
- 10-11 PM: Breast milk
- Midnight: Breast milk
