Is It Normal for a Baby’s Tongue to Have White Coating?

The baby has developed a lot of white coating on the tongue, and I’m not sure if this is normal. Could you help clarify?

If the coating is simply white and there are no other abnormalities, it can be observed first. This may just be an individual difference and usually does not require special treatment. Moreover, scraping off the coating does not necessarily mean that the disease will heal; the coating is just one manifestation of the disease and usually does not affect health. Scraping off the coating is just a self-deceiving act.
