Misoprostol tablets are contraindicated for the following groups:
- Pregnant women or women who are suspected to be pregnant, as well as those planning to become pregnant, because they may cause incomplete or complete abortion in pregnancy.
- Patients who are allergic to misoprostol or any of its components, or to other prostaglandins.
