Question
I’ve had skin bumps for three years, they come and go, and my hands and feet joints are itchy. After taking thymosin enteric-coated tablets, my chest began to develop. I want to know if stopping the medication can slow down the rate of development?
Answer
Thymosin enteric-coated tablets are primarily used for the following conditions:
- Patients with chronic hepatitis B.
- Various primary or secondary T-cell deficiency diseases, such as congenital immune deficiency in children.
- Certain autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, childhood asthma, and asthmatic bronchitis.
- Various diseases with low cellular immune function, such as viral hepatitis, prevention of upper respiratory tract infections, and stubborn oral ulcers.
- Adjunctive treatment for tumors. A very small number of patients may experience mild allergic reactions to thymosin enteric-coated tablets, which can disappear after discontinuation of the medication. It is recommended to consult a hospital first and then make a decision. Wishing you good health!
