In winter, babies’ skin tends to dry out, and applying Vaseline daily can protect their skin and effectively moisturize it. However, try to avoid using it in the summer. Additionally, when applying Vaseline to infants, it’s best to apply a thin layer after spreading it evenly on your hands. You can also add some warm water to dilute the Vaseline before use. Some careful mothers have found that applying Vaseline before putting on the diaper and then adding a layer of diaper rash cream can more effectively prevent red buttocks and isolate bacteria.
