Hello! Here is a training plan for babies aged 4 to 6 months:
- Prone Support Exercise: Place the baby on their stomach, with their arms curved across their chest. Encourage and guide the child to lift their head and chest until they can support their body with one hand while lifting their head and chest. Alternate between left and right hands for support training, performing several times a day, each session lasting a few minutes.
- Rolling Exercise: Train the baby to roll from supine to prone position. Lay the baby on their back, and with your left hand, gently straighten the baby’s right arm. Gently grasp the inside of the baby’s right knee with your right hand. Bend the left leg, and using the back of your right wrist, press down to make the baby’s right leg stick to the mattress or floor. Then gently lift the baby’s left leg, rolling them over into a prone position. Use the same steps to assist the baby in rolling from the left side to prone position. Practice 2 to 3 times a day, with 1 to 2 rolls on each side. Gradually train the child to roll over successfully without assistance.
- Sitting Practice (1) Pull-Up Sitting Exercise: At 4 months, you can start training the baby to pull up into a sitting position. Lie the baby on their back, insert your thumbs into the baby’s hands, allowing them to grip, while the other fingers gently hold the baby’s wrist.
