Patients with pityriasis alba will have white spots on their skin, but the skin structure is normal and does not accompany itching or other symptoms. It is commonly found on areas exposed to sunlight such as the hands, feet, arms, legs, face, and lips. Other susceptible areas include armpits, groin, around the lips, eyes, nostrils, navel, and genitals.
