Question

What are the symptoms of pediatric epilepsy?

Answer

The symptoms of pediatric epilepsy are similar to those in adults, but also have unique manifestations, such as age differences and hereditary factors across generations. For example, the characteristics of seizures in the neonatal period, benign pediatric epilepsy that occurs in the neonatal period, and many cases that recur in infancy, as well as those that occur during adolescence, such as the recurrence of the juvenile type, all have characteristics at different age stages. This type of epilepsy, we also call it an epilepsy syndrome, which manifests during this period at different age stages; after this period, it may never appear again with these additional characteristics.
