Question
What is the standard ratio between the upper body and the legs? Where should the division between the upper body and the legs be? I am seeking assistance: Can a 15-year-old girl still grow taller?
Answer
The standard body proportion calculation is as follows: Height ÷ Head Length = Head Ratio (this is what is known as the standard body proportion). For example: If you are 159cm tall and your head length is 20cm, then 159 (height) ÷ 20 (head length) = 7.59 (head ratio). Rounding it off, you have a standard 8-head proportion! Since everyone’s skeletal structure and body shape are different, if the calculated result differs by less than 0.5, it is still within the acceptable standard range! The standard weight (kg) ≈ (Height - 100cm) × 0.9, or B ≈ (A - 100) × 0.91. If B is above the standard, then you are overweight, and it is recommended to go to a gym or lose weight.
