The scrotum, in addition to protecting the testicles, also serves a cooling function. On hot days, the scrotum relaxes to increase the cooling surface area. Suggestion: If the baby’s scrotum does not shrink quickly after being touched, it may be due to hot weather or weak cremaster reflex. Usually, this is not a big deal and does not require excessive worry.
