Question

I am 175 cm tall and weigh only 50 kg. My arms lack muscle, and my wrists and legs are very thin. I want to know if the reason could be malnutrition? As a boarding student, I hope to receive some appropriate advice. Thank you very much!

Answer

If you find that you are underweight and thin, the first step should be to check for potential underlying diseases, such as thyroid issues, diabetes, adrenal problems, or digestive system diseases, which can all lead to weight loss. Once disease factors are ruled out, you can then begin implementing a weight gain plan. Wishing you a swift recovery to health. This is my suggestion for the question “What Causes Weight Loss?” I hope it is helpful to you, and wish you good health!
