Question
My son is 7 years old, and he’s urinating frequently and can’t seem to stop. He pees very little each time, and there’s no pain. We did a urine test, and the doctor said there’s nothing wrong and recommended a cold compress on his stomach at home. But his symptoms haven’t improved. What should we do?
Answer
It’s quite common for young children to urinate frequently during the cold winter months, often due to nervous urinary frequency. Generally, this condition can be gradually resolved on its own without the need for medication. I think the doctor you consulted has given you good advice; just apply the cold compress carefully and observe your child. This is my suggestion for the issue of a 7-year-old boy urinating frequently and not being able to stop. I hope it helps you, and wish you all the best in your health!
