Question

I’ve been hearing a lot about pediatric epilepsy lately, and they say it’s quite common in children. So, what does an epileptic seizure look like, and should I be looking out for any signs in my child?

Answer

Pediatric epilepsy minor seizures often accompany sudden falls or brief loss of consciousness. Sometimes, they may also be accompanied by slight twitching of the face, limbs, or head, or the occurrence of involuntary chewing or swallowing movements.
