Question

My baby is 11 months old and eats nothing but breast milk. What are the effects if I wean him now? Previous treatment and outcome: The doctor said it was due to poor gastrointestinal digestion, and after taking one medicine, it got better, but soon it didn’t work again. Now, even medication for opsonize doesn’t work. I’m looking for better solutions.

Answer

Based on your description, it’s not advisable to wean your baby if he eats nothing but breast milk, as this may affect the child’s growth and development. It’s better to consider weaning when the baby can eat some complementary foods. I hope this helps, and wish you and your baby health and happiness.
