Is it safe for a 2.5-year-old baby to take Amoxicillin Potassium Clavulanate Oral Solution? The baby has a cold with a runny nose and nasal congestion, but no fever. The prescribed dose was 3 milliliters, but at 4 PM, the grandmother gave 10 milliliters, and again at 9:15 PM she gave another 10 milliliters. After administering the evening dose, I immediately gave the baby about 300 milliliters of plain water. There have been no adverse reactions yet, and I want to know if this will reduce the effectiveness of the medication?
