Question

My baby is 8 months old and weighs 19 pounds. She started to have a fever at 3 pm on Friday afternoon. After taking cold medicine and fever-reducing medicine, she rested. At 9 pm, red rashes began to appear on her face. She went to the hospital late at night and was prescribed cold medicine and fever-reducing medicine. By the morning of the third day at 5 am, there were large patches of red rashes on her entire face and neck. Her highest temperature reached 39.5 degrees Celsius, often around 38.7 degrees. About ten days ago, I had a cold, and it’s possible that my baby was infected with a runny nose. My cold has since cleared up, but my baby suddenly developed a fever and rashes. It’s now Sunday, and her entire body is covered with rashes. The doctor said it might be an allergy. It has been going on for 48 hours, and after taking fever-reducing medicine, her temperature rises again within four hours; I’m not sure why. The blood routine test showed normal white blood cells. Some doctors diagnosed it as viral influenza, body inflammation, pediatric rubella, acute urticaria, etc. I’ve seen about five or six doctors with differing opinions; some say it’s an allergy. My baby is breastfed, and on the day of the fever, the mother ate a few pieces of pork jerky, but she doesn’t think it’s related to the rash. On the day of the fever, she took rifampin and a cold infusion; I’m not sure if it’s a drug allergy. I searched online for Kawasaki disease, but it doesn’t seem likely; it’s more like pediatric rubella, but the temperature keeps fluctuating. I’m asking for advice from the doctor.
