Question

What should I do if my 3-year-old baby eats too much and then vomits all over?

Answer

If a baby vomits apples after eating too much, leading to airway blockage, parents should immediately perform first aid. The abdominal thrust technique can be used. Place the baby face down on a table, and the rescuer places one hand on the baby’s abdomen (between the navel and sternum), pressing firmly upwards. The other hand is gently placed on the chest wall, pushing upwards and inwards to increase pressure between the abdomen and chest cavity. Repeat this process several times to help expel the obstructive object.
