Question

The child fell out of the stroller and hit the kitchen edge on the back of their head. There’s swelling and it looks blue and red, but it’s not very noticeable in photos. I held them for a while and they stopped crying. They didn’t show any signs of vomiting. They walked around on the ground for a while, then climbed onto the bed and fell asleep.

Answer

Based on the description and photo observation, the baby’s injury is not in a dangerous area. Therefore, there is no major concern. It is recommended to closely monitor the situation. If there are any symptoms such as projectile vomiting, severe crying, or restlessness, go to the hospital for a brain CT scan. This is my suggestion for the question “What to do if a child falls from a stroller and hits the back of their head.” I hope this helps and wish you good health!
