Question
Every time my child takes a nap, their hands and feet always twitch involuntarily. When they fall asleep, they twitch for a moment, and occasionally their limbs move while they are asleep. Has this been normal for them?
Answer
This condition may be caused by calcium deficiency or tic disorder. It is recommended that you take your child to the hospital for a check-up. If it is due to calcium deficiency, you can take symptomatic calcium supplements, such as cod liver oil and calcium gluconate. I hope these suggestions are helpful to you, and wish you health!
