Question
My daughter is two and a half years old, and she has to get a shot almost every month, and medication doesn’t seem to work. She has issues with hot palms and soles of her feet, and phlegm in her airways. Simply taking medicine seems to worsen the condition. Every month, she gets a fever, even though she drinks a lot of water, her body still feels too hot. She has to start taking medicine as soon as there are symptoms, and after taking one day’s worth of medicine, she has to get a shot or else she will develop bronchopneumonia. I would like to ask, are there any ways to prevent this situation from happening?
Answer
Firstly, I suggest you take your child for a check-up to see if there is a deficiency in trace elements leading to a decline in immunity. If everything is fine with these checks, you can consider giving your child immune-boosting medications such as transfer factors. You can also give them probiotics or colostrum to enhance immunity. I hope these suggestions are helpful; wishing you and your daughter good health!
