Question

The use of amobarbital suppositories for fever reduction appears to be ineffective; the fever continues to rise or even increases five hours later. Another child with diarrhea was given the same suppositories. Could the doctor have made a medication error? My son reported feeling muffled in his left ear after returning home. Is this related to the suppositories, or is it due to a cold? What should be done if a medication error is indeed made, such as using streptomycin instead?
