Question

My child is 18 months old. She has breast milk once at night and doesn’t like to drink formula milk. Recently, a relative sent us a box of children’s growth milk, and she has had some without any adverse reactions. I want to know, since she seems fine with the growth milk, can she also drink fresh milk?

Answer

Formula milk is more nutritionally balanced, but since your child doesn’t like it, there’s no other choice. Drinking growth milk or fresh milk is better than not drinking anything at all. You can try yogurt. If your child doesn’t like formula milk, have you tried multiple different formulas? If not, then you might want to try a few more. Your child’s dislike for formula milk could be due to the taste of the bottle, as most breastfed infants don’t prefer it over breast milk.
