Question
My baby is 22 days old and has started crying yesterday. She stops crying when held but cries loudly when lying down, with a louder voice than usual. There are no other symptoms. Please help.
Answer
Baby crying is a common phenomenon, often more frequent in the first few months after birth. It is recommended to check if there are any red areas on the baby’s body and to use diaper rash cream moderately. If the baby is healthy, crying is normal. Usually, mothers find it more challenging in the first three months, but it gets easier after this stage.
