Question
How to handle a newborn baby’s diarrhea?
Answer
If a one-month-old baby vomits again, it could be due to improper milk feeding or incomplete sterilization. If the vomiting is severe, a stool test is needed. If it’s not severe, you can try giving the baby some probiotics or children’s health powder, or apply a belly button patch. However, do not exceed 24 hours. If the vomiting is severe, intravenous treatment is recommended, as vomiting can easily lead to dehydration, and it’s difficult to detect the extent of dehydration in such young babies.
