Question
May I ask if it’s appropriate for a 24-year-old adult to drink infant formula milk? I’ve tried adult formula milk before with no noticeable effects, and now I’m considering switching to infant formula. I’d like to know if there’s anything wrong with this? I’m a bit deficient in calcium, and I want to confirm if I can fully absorb the nutrients from the milk?
Answer
Adult calcium deficiency can usually be supplemented by consuming calcium-rich foods and taking calcium supplements. While it’s impossible to completely avoid nutrient loss during the digestive process, consuming enough calcium through daily diet can effectively replenish it. However, there’s no need to specifically drink infant formula milk to supplement calcium, as this may only be an unnecessary luxury.
