Question

How can one predict if a child is experiencing intrauterine waterlogging?

Answer

In clinical diagnosis, the fetal movement self-testing method is commonly used. Pregnant women should count the fetal movements three times a day, in the morning, afternoon, and evening, while lying in bed, for one hour each time. The total number of movements in 12 hours is calculated by multiplying the number of movements per hour and then dividing by four. If the fetal movements are greater than or equal to 30 per 12 hours, or greater than or equal to 4 per hour, it is considered normal. If the fetal movements are less than or equal to 3 per hour for two consecutive days, it is considered abnormal and immediate medical attention for placental monitoring is required.
