Question
Parents have noticed their child scratching at their anus, with dark pigmentation around the area, but no swelling or other symptoms. Sometimes, the child cries and fusses due to the itching, and the parents suspect there might be worms in the child’s belly. What were the past treatments and their effects? The parents are unsure which department they should take their child to see. They seek help to determine the cause and identify the appropriate department to consult.
