Question

Can two individuals with O-type blood have a child with A-type blood?

Answer

Generally, two people with O-type blood cannot have a child with A-type blood. Blood type inheritance follows the rules of Intergenerational transmission (cross-generation inheritance). If both parents are O-type blood, their child will also be O-type. If an A-type blood child appears, it may be due to a blood type test error. Typically, two O-type blood parents can only have children with O-type blood. If an A-type child is born, it may be because the child was mistakenly switched.
