Question
My baby is 25 days old, and I’ve noticed recently that their nap time has increased compared to before. They used to play in the morning and sleep in the afternoon, but now they fall asleep as soon as they eat, both during the day and at night. Is this normal?
Answer
Newborns refer to infants from birth to 28 days old. Apart from feeding times, babies usually spend most of their time in a deep sleep state, with daily sleep durations typically exceeding 20 hours. As long as the baby’s eating, defecation, and overall mental state are normal, there is usually no need to worry excessively.
