Question

What causes vomiting after a child falls?

Answer

If the child did not injure their head during the fall, there is usually no need to worry. Vomiting in babies may be due to indigestion or catching a cold, or possibly from excessive shock. However, if the child exhibits symptoms such as crying, headaches, and nausea with vomiting, it may be a sign of increased intracranial pressure, and an immediate CT scan of the head should be performed.
