Question
Why do some women still experience mild vaginal bleeding 20 days postpartum?
Answer
This condition may be caused by Qi deficiency and the failure to control blood flow. Long-term illness, fatigue, or spleen deficiency can lead to Qi deficiency, which in turn fails to regulate blood flow, causing blood to leak outside of the vessels. If accompanied by increased intraocular pressure, surgical treatment may be necessary; otherwise, it could lead to blindness.
