Question

What foods can a six-month-old baby eat?

Answer

After six months, a baby can consume many types of foods, but it’s important not to mix all foods together. The amount of food given at each feeding may be small, but it’s suggested to introduce one food at a time and cook it into a puree form. Vegetables, fruits, and meats are all suitable for the baby to eat. For babies under five months old, breastfeeding is recommended, along with mixed feeding or formula feeding. Between feedings, some vegetable broth or diluted fruit juice can be given appropriately. After two weeks of birth, cod liver oil and calcium powder can be gradually introduced.
