Question

I am 36 years old and have been feeling unwell recently. I get dizzy during the day, which affects my work, and I can’t sleep at night. The medicine I’ve taken doesn’t seem to help much. How many shots do I need to get if I haven’t taken the sugar pill vaccine?

Answer

The vaccine for preventing poliomyelitis is currently only available in the form of the sugar pill. Currently, the birth dose is the BCG injection and hepatitis B, with the second dose at one month and the third dose at six months. At 2, 3, and 4 months, the sugar pill is used to prevent poliomyelitis. At 3, 4, and 5 months, the DTP (diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus) vaccine is administered by muscle injection. At 8 months, the measles vaccine is administered by muscle injection. There are also now paid preventive vaccines available for preventing colds and autumn diarrhea. These are administered two months after the initial dose.
