Question
My child has been disobedient lately, crying and fussing non-stop. We’ve gone to the hospital and had checks done, but nothing seems to help. What should I do about a child with persistent fever?
Answer
You can first try using an alcohol-based sponge bath to reduce the fever, then investigate the cause of the fever. There are many reasons for fever, the most common being infection, followed by connective tissue disease, malignant tumors, and so on. Don’t rush into medication just yet.
