Question
What causes a baby to have a nosebleed in the morning? I don’t know what’s going on. My child has been acting up lately, crying and fussing non-stop. We’ve gone to the hospital and had checks done, but nothing seems to help. Please explain what causes a baby to have a nosebleed in the morning.
Answer
Nosebleeds can be caused by various factors such as dry air, rhinitis, dry nasal mucosa, or blood disorders. It’s advisable to first check a routine blood test to see if there are any abnormalities. Also, be mindful of the child’s diet, reducing cold and spicy foods. Additionally, teach the child not to pick their nose.
