Due to my preeclampsia, my baby was born prematurely at 27 weeks and has developed retinopathy of prematurity. An eye examination and vitreous cavity anesthesia have been performed, but after transferring to a different hospital, the baby is on a ventilator, and I am worried that this may affect the eye surgery and delay treatment.

Answer

The baby currently has congenital retinopathy, and the treatment plan needs to be considered comprehensively, focusing on symptomatic stabilization, protection of organ function, and normal growth and development. It is recommended to discuss with the doctor as soon as possible to ensure the best protection of vision and organ function.
