Question

What is the range of low fever in young children?

Answer

Body temperature is usually measured at three locations: oral, armpit, and rectum. Normal body temperature ranges from 36.5℃ to 37.5℃ at the rectum; from 36.2℃ to 37.3℃ at the mouth; and from 35.9℃ to 37.2℃ at the armpit. Any temperature above the normal range by more than 0.5℃ is considered a fever.
