Question

How to Handle a Baby’s Fever Without Medication

Answer

Fever in children is a common occurrence, usually caused by a cold. Since the child’s thermoregulatory center is not yet fully developed, they are easily affected by external factors and can experience temperature fluctuations. Generally, if the temperature does not exceed 38 degrees Celsius, there is no need to take antipyretic medication. Physical cooling methods can be primarily used, such as rubbing with alcohol, washing the face and forehead with warm water. If the temperature exceeds 38 degrees Celsius, you can usually take ibuprofen suspension or naproxen.
