Question

My child has been crying and fussing a lot recently and isn’t eating much. How should I administer Icodextrin and calcium to my child?

Answer

Babies generally take Icodextrin and calcium supplements in a preventive dose, which is fine without any side effects. It’s important to regularly check the blood calcium levels. When making congee, you can add some beans, which will make the porridge more nutritious. Even if the baby doesn’t drink milk, it can still get a lot of nutrients. It’s recommended to drink porridge or congee along with formula milk, not necessarily together. My baby used to not eat formula milk, and she was well-nourished by drinking different types of congee every day.
