Question

Pediatrics > What to Do If Your Baby’s Bottom Is Red and Swollen After 20 Days?

Answer

Condition Analysis: A baby’s red bottom is medically known as diaper rash. The primary cause is prolonged moisture in the buttocks area, which exacerbates the condition along with heat; irritants in stool and urine can also cause the baby’s bottom to become red; frequent contact with cleaning agents can also trigger diaper rash.
