Question

Can babies eat sesame paste as complementary food?

Answer

Babies can consume sesame paste in small amounts. Generally, babies can start complementary feeding after 6 months old, but each child is different. Some children have particularly strong digestion and breast milk is easily digested, requiring plenty of water, and they tend to get hungry more often. Around 4 to 6 months is more appropriate. It’s important to schedule a reasonable sleep time for the child and encourage them to form a habit of going to bed at the designated time and turning off the lights. You can sit on a chair beside the child’s bed to soothe them until they fall asleep, but remember never to lie down next to them. Parents can move their chair a little further away every 3 days, starting from beside the bed, then to the door, and eventually outside the child’s room. However, initially, even when outside the door, it’s still necessary for the child to see you. After some time, you can completely remove yourself from the child’s line of sight.
