Question
How to treat a child’s fever?
Answer
Ensure your baby drinks plenty of water. Pay attention to the environmental temperature. In the hot summer, with high temperatures and infants having poor temperature regulation abilities, the heat from the mother’s embrace is not easily dispersed, leading to an increase in body temperature. However, such fever usually does not last long. Place the child in a cool area, give them a gentle breeze, offer them some cool fruit juice, or give them a warm bath; within a few hours, their body temperature should return to normal. In winter, if the indoor temperature is too high or the baby is excessively bundled up, this can also cause their body temperature to rise.
