Question

My baby is just four months old, breastfed, and has been having digestion problems. The baby has been taking digestive medicine. Can I start adding complementary foods? How much should I add, and what should I add? Please answer by an expert.

Answer

Since the child is currently experiencing indigestion, it is not recommended to eat eggs. Eggs, as a food high in cholesterol and phospholipids, often increase the liver’s burden, making them difficult to digest. Eating eggs now would actually worsen the indigestion. Therefore, it is suggested not to give the child eggs.
