For symptoms during the acute stage such as low fever or no fever, runny nose, coughing, sore throat, or loss of appetite and nausea, the “Yiniao Powder” formula can be used; for persistent high fever, dense rashes on the mouth, hands, buttocks, and limbs, the “Qingwen Baidu Decoction” formula can be used; for complications such as persistent high fever and frequent coughing with shortness of breath, the “Yi Jiao Huang Wan Combined with Shenfu Decoction” formula can be used. During the recovery period of the disease, for children with dry mouth and sore throat, Shashen Maidong Decoction can be supplemented with raw rehmannia and lu gen to nourish yin and moisten the throat. If the child has blisters in the mouth, options such as Xigua Shuang (snow lotus powder), Bing Peng San (ice borax powder), or Xili San (cinnabar powder) can be used to apply to the affected areas of the mouth; for severe hand and foot blisters, you can choose one of Ruyi Jinyang San or Qingdai San, mixed with sesame oil and applied to the affected rash areas.
