Question

Two months ago, what are the symptoms of pediatric external ear deformities?

Answer

Cryptotia, also referred to as baggy ear, is a less common congenital earlobe deformity. Its features include the skin on the front of the ear being connected to the side of the head, with the ear cartilage structure basically normal but buried within the skin and unable to protrude normally, resulting in the temporal groove becoming invisible. When pulled or pressed, the normal shape of the ear can be observed; however, it will revert to its original position after release. Sometimes, it may also be accompanied by angular deformities of the antihelix and ossicular fractures.
