Hello, there is no need to warm up when measuring a baby’s axillary temperature. Normal body temperature is between 36.5℃ to 37.5℃ at the rectum; between 36.2℃ to 37.3℃ at the mouth; and between 35.9℃ to 37.2℃ at the armpit.
