Question

How do I start introducing solid foods to my child? He seems to be not feeling well lately.

Answer

Firstly, you can start with egg yolks. Boil an egg, peel it, and then grind the yolk into a powder. In the initial stage, feed your baby one-eighth of the egg yolk daily, and gradually increase to one-quarter, half, and finally the entire yolk. The egg yolk powder can be mixed with water and given to the baby between feedings; or it can be directly mixed into rice porridge. Around six months old, you can switch to eating egg yolk porridge; by seven or eight months old, your child can have steamed eggs, including both the white and the yolk.
